Lauren Pecson-Anderson is a two-time Emmy Award–winning editor and colorist drawn to stories rooted in truth. From the beginning of her career, she was pulled toward documentary work for its emotional depth and the responsibility that comes with shaping real lives into lasting narratives.
That path has since expanded across sports, branded content, commercials, long-form projects, and beyond. Along the way, Lauren has worked across nearly every stage of post-production—serving as an assistant editor, DIT, member of the camera department, editor, colorist, and post-production supervisor. That experience shapes how she works, helping her see the bigger picture and problem solve efficiently.
Outside of the edit suite, Lauren doesn't enjoy long walks on the beach but happily takes on a good day hike or a long road trip in her camper van. She’s also a proud dog mom, human mom, and wife.
Lauren partners with brands and creative teams on documentary, branded, and editorial projects. Her work focuses on shaping clear, engaging narratives through careful pacing and a strong sense of tone.
Each collaboration is guided by the needs of the story—balancing creative vision with practical execution across the post-production process.
